FRIENDS FOREVER----IN GOOD TIMES AND IN BAD TIMES

“Your friends are the ones who are with you in your GOOD AND BAD TIMES.” We all have heard of this quote zillion numbers of times. If someone really cares for you then s/he must escort you through your toughest of times. This is what we inferred from it. But it seems to be saying something else now. Is it just me? Or everybody feels the difference? Let’s see.

~~~~~~~~~~
Arya and Lavanya are classmates.
One day Arya didn’t attend school. Worried Lavanya, called her up as soon as she went back home. Arya was ill it turned out. She was expected to take an off for next one week. Exams were approaching. Dutifully and religiously, Lavanya took worksheets for her, took out her time and got all the work photocopied for Arya. How sweet! Isn’t it? Just like BFF (Best friends forever)!!
When Arya joined school again, she was able to pick up very soon. Thanks to the help she received from Lavanya. Exams were like a trip to moon. Both of them did really well. And just like every other story book ends with the result, so would ours. The results were in favour of Arya. She got the first rank, where as Lavanya got the second. Seeing this, the seeds of jealousy sprouted in Lavanya’s mind. Arya wouldn’t have been able to make it without Lavanya’s help. That was for sure. And this is what maybe even Lavanya thinks.
They are not close enough to bear the heavy tag of ‘FRIENDS’.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

So peeps, don’t you think it’s equally important for two friends to be with each other in their happiest of the times? To share their joys and saw them multiply? In fact, even acquaintances come to support you in your bad times. But the ones who grip with you in your achievements, your accomplishments, and your happiness........and consider it their own......are actually the ones who deserve to be your “FRIENDS”
I reinforce that “Your friends are the ones who are with you in your GOOD AND BAD TIMES.” The only difference is that I pay more stress on “GOOD TIMES”.
