Memoirs of the source of light

When I see the earth, flowering in the glee

I burn with jealousy.

When I see the earth, drying ‘cause of me

I burn with regret.

When I see the earth, always around me in a roller coaster ride

I burn with pride.

When I see the man, destructing the earth, which ought to be its dear

I burn with fear.

When I see the earth, turning to a victim of man’s blame

I burn with shame.

When I would see warmth in every bless,

My endless agony would come to an end.

Oh I am taken away..................

Like the mighty trunk of a tree

Is by the strength of the roots

It’s grounded to. Fascinated

By the reliability presented

By someone who was forever below.

Oh I m taken away

I m taken away by you;

Like a snake is in its endeavor

To intoxicate the twigs of

The sandal wood tree by its

Venom, Immersed in the

Scent of the tree and left absorbed.

Oh I am taken away

I am taken away by you;

Just as a sunflower is by

The majestic heat of the sun.

It makes it laugh under its

Shadow, and gain its

Splendor and radiance and grandeur.

Oh I m taken away

I m taken away by you;

Like a leaf that donates its being

To the wind that carts it away,

Assuring a sacrifice

For renaissance for the fresh

Leaves to rejoice and view it from the peak.

Oh I am taken away

I am taken away by you;

Like a dream that sways in the eyes

Of a bride wrapping herself in

Silks of thoughts and the jewels

Of glittering future is a-

-waken by certainty.

Oh I am taken away

I am taken away by you.

Just as a mother is by

The innocent tricks of her child

A nourishing way

Of learning is it.

Which a tot teaches his mother.

Oh I m taken away

I m taken away by you;

Oh I am taken away

I am taken away by you.

The Body and The Soul

Today I saw a pair of feet,

That walked with comfort on the heaps of junk.

Today I saw a pair of hands,

Without hassle, it picked gravels and sand.

Today I saw a pair of eyes,

The dilemma in them was a painful sight.

Today I saw a pair of ears,

Nothing gloomy was left for them to hear.

Today I saw a pair of shoulders,

Flimsy as if loaded with boulders.

Today I saw a pair of lungs,

But no freedom was there to breathe.

Today I saw a pair of cheeks,

Just a smile was missing to be seen.

Today I saw a body of a human,

Just a human soul, was I not able to glimpse.
